No, not really!
What I believe is really affecting the sales of tour operators and travel agencies the the Internet. If you have the time and patience (and know what you want to purchase), you can usually find better deals directly from the vendors that you want to utilize rather than purchasing them from a tour operator and/or a travel agent. You are eliminating the middle man and the commissions that they earn.
